Stoughton Sweet Shoppe Shipping

Shipping Method. We primarily use United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. Once your order is processed and shipped, delivery should take 1-3 days depending somewhat on the distance from Stoughton, Wisconsin to your destination.

Eligible Destinations. We ship anywhere in the United States. Please double check your “ship to” address before checkout to ensure your package will arrive at the correct destination.

Shipping Charges. We have set a base shipping rate of $7.25 for all orders no matter the size or quantity of items in your order (so feel free to order more of everything).

Local Pickup. If you select local pickup, you will save on shipping charges but will still be charged handling fees.

Handling Fees. To protect your order during delivery, we use higher quality packaging materials. To offset this cost we charge a handling fee of 50 cents per item ordered for delivery.

Timing of Shipments. Our Sweets are not stockpiled, often made fresh with your order, so may take up to 3 business days to ship. If you place your order right before or on a weekend, we may wait until Monday to package and ship your order to ensure freshness (we don’t want your order sitting overlong in a shipping vehicle or warehouse).

Shipping Confirmation and Tracking. We will email you a confirmation that your order has shipped along with a tracking number so you can track the shipment.

Gift Shipping. For all gift box purchases, we will email you a confirmation that we received your order and inquire whether you have any special requests. This is your opportunity to request a future shipping date if you desire your gift to arrive close to a specific date. It may be helpful to alert the recipient that a somewhat perishable package is on the way. You could share the tracking number so that their sweets and treats don’t sit in their mailbox longer than necessary.

Warm weather shipping: Fudge, Caramel, and Hard Candy do not need to be refrigerated. In fact, each is better when not refrigerated. While they may soften, they should not melt under most conditions. However, if you expect your delivery destination to be warmer on the expected date of delivery (exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit), please add an icepack to your cart before checkout to help that your sweets reach their destination in top condition.
